Seeking queer activists!
Freedom for All Americans, an amazing organization, has an awesome, all-expenses paid program for LGBTQ+ Students. They have a year-long apprenticeship program that trains queer students more solid activism and campaign skills, equipping them to be change-makers and leaders for the future.
The program flies you out to 3 trainings that take place in September, November, and March. Despite flying out only three times through the year, the program has many activities to keep you learning throughout the year.
More about the program from the official website:
“Freedom for All Americans Education Fund will provide scholarships to cover the cost of travel, lodging, and meals for all accepted participants. We have a limited number of stipends available for apprentices who would be unable to attend the week-long campaign basics training without additional financial support.
Applicants should be interested in full-time employment on a nondiscrimination campaign. Preference is given to individuals with past or current leadership experience in LGBT/nondiscrimination work or other campaigns, but is not required.”
Deadline is July 22nd, so do apply soon! The application is a bit lengthy but the program seems more than worth it.
