The professional world is very heteronormative and generally non-diverse. Its great having programs like “Amplifying New Voices” which is trying to diversify unique industries like gaming. Usually diversity programs are focused in business and other non-technical industries. So it’s great that people are recognizing that diversity is needed in many other industries, such as gaming. Whats even more awesome about the program is that it recognizes other minorities such as female-identifying individuals and people of color.
